Create and print a page of identical labels

Choose a blank template to create your design from scratch, or personalise one of our designs. The label editor in Avery Design & Print is a standard label editor with most of the crucial features. You can edit the text, font, alignment and graphics on any of the premade templates. Or, like in all good label makers, make your own labels from scratch.
- Go to Mailings > Labels.
- Select Options and choose a label vendor and product to use. Select OK.If you don’t see your product number, select New Label and configure a custom label.
- Type an address or other information in the Address box (text only).To use an address from your contacts list select Insert Address .
- To change the formatting, select the text, right-click, and make changes with Font or Paragraph.
- Select OK.
- Select Full page of the same label.
- Select Print, or New Document to edit, save and print later.

- In the Address box, type the text that you want.To use an address from your contacts list select Insert Address .
- To change the formatting, select the text, right-click, and make changes with Font or Paragraph.
- In the Label Options dialog box, make your choices, and then select OK.If you don’t see your product number, select New Label and configure a custom label.
- Select OK.
- Select Full page of the same label.
- Select Print, or New Document to edit, save and print later.

- Go to Mailings > Labels.
- Select Options.
- Choose Printer type, Label products, and Product number.If you don’t see your product number, select New Label and configure a custom label.
- Click OK.
- Type an address or other information in the Delivery Address box.To use an address from your contacts list select Insert Address .
- To change the formatting, select the text and then select Font to make changes.
- Select Full page of the same label.
- Select OK.
- Select Print, or New Document to edit, save and print later.

Word for the web doesn't support directly creating labels. However you can create labels from a template. For label templates, select More templates when you create a new document in Word for the web.
You can also go to templates.office.com, and search for label.
- Select a label template and open in Word for the web.
- For a sheet of identical labels, fill out one label, and then copy/paste for the rest.
Tip: Print your labels to a sheet of paper before loading labels into the printer to make sure the text aligns with the labels.

Creating CD labels is no longer a task just for music companies and graphic designers. With more people storing back-up data files, customized music play lists, and important work documents and projects on CD, creating CD labels to effectively keep track of all of your discs has become a necessity. By using a standard Avery CD label, it is quick and easy to create your own personalized CD label through the familiar interface of Microsoft Word. Here is a step-by-step guide on how you can create CD labels on a Mac.
Step 1
Open Microsoft Word. Go to 'Tools' and the main navigational menu. Select 'Labels.'
Step 2
In the pop-up window, go to the 'Label' section and click 'Options.'
Step 3
In the drop-down menu for 'Label products', select 'Avery Standard.' Scroll down the 'Product Number' section. Select '5824 -- CD label'. Click 'OK.' Click 'OK' again to close the 'Labels' options window.
Step 4
Your document should now show the grid lines for two CD labels. Type the text you want to use on your CD labels. You can insert an image by going to 'Insert' and selecting 'Picture'.
Prepare your Avery 5824 CD labels in your printer. In Microsoft Word, go to 'File' and then click 'Print' to print out your CD labels.
